Rannoch Studio is a contemporary art gallery and coffee shop nestled in the heart of Kinloch Rannoch.
Rannoch Studio is the creative home of photographer and graphic designer Ron Dekker and his wife Jane. Together they are curating a space to showcase their own work along with that of other creatives who have been inspired by this stunning area.
The Shed Gallery is in the peaceful surroundings of Kinloch Rannoch, a scenic drive from Pitlochry or Aberfeldy. As a landscape and fine art photographer I concentrate my work based around where I live showcasing what my part of the world can look like in the right conditions making it look other worldly.
Tim's work uses both ancient and contemporary processes: bronze sculptures cast using the lost wax process that dates back thousands of years, and digitally-created images using modern and evolving technology. The bronze pieces range from classical, figurative pieces to modern abstracts. The digital work embraces both traditional landscapes and post-modern explorations of the human form. There are sculptures and prints to purchase, and cards are accepted.
Tim has been working as an artist for forty years. His work has been on view at the Royal Scottish Academy Summer Exhibition, The Holy Art exhibition in London, and in local galleries.
In any season,Glen Lyon is one of the most beautiful in Scotland. Tim's studio is in the converted stables of a beautiful old coach house set in a lovely garden and woodlands. You may well catch Tim at work, and see and hear about the processes that transform a clay model into a finished bronze. You may even get the opportunity to try your hand at making a model in clay.
There is a ramp to facilitate access to the venue, which has a toilet.
I work in acrylic and mixed media. My inspiration comes primarily from the landscape. I like to express the moods and feelings of the subject in an impressionistic style.
Excited to be back in POS. Now taking part again from her new home /studio outside Aberfeldy. You can be assured of a warm welcome and a tactile textile experience.
Metal Sculptures & Garden Art, made using recycled parts & scrap metal, every piece is made onsite in our traditional Smithy next to the Gallery. Our pieces large & small often portray the natural world & how we fit into it, wildlife, domestic animals, birds, abstract pieces & metal typography.
Our pieces often feature a touch of humour and the use of recognisable scrap parts.
Open all year.
With busy bees beside my studio shed and a fantastic landscape of life in front of me it’s not Dull! I create functional pottery, each piece has a place and story in a collection. All my pottery is hand thrown, rolled or coiled, hand painted and glazed. Enjoy a morning coffee from a work of art!
I trained at Manchester School of Art in the 80’s and worked for 10 years in design studios in London as a freelance textile designer. Painting gradually became my primary focus and oil has always been my favourite medium as it compliments the use of colour in my work.
Wildflower Meadows & Machair my 2025 theme is created in vibrant & tactile fused glass, following the seasons of Scotland’s beautiful Islands. Always glass in the making to watch, in the process of cutting & layering ready for melting in the kiln, with a warm welcome at my studio.
My artwork focuses on shapes colour and composition in still lives. Painting in oils , oil sticks and wax.
