I’m a photographer based in Blairgowrie. I mainly photograph landscapes and everyday moments. A lot of my work is monochromatic as I find I can better catch a moment without the distractions of colour.

Adam Manders

Adam Stone is a custom furniture maker and woodworking teacher whose love of woodworking blossomed at his grandfather’s knee. Born and raised in Perthshire, an early passion for woodturning grew into a desire to create beautiful and useful objects. Adam attended the Chippendale International School of Furniture in Gifford, studying woodworking, speciality joinery, and furniture making. He then taught at the furniture school for four years before returning home to Perthshire to open Adam Stone Furniture near Kettins, where he designs and makes bespoke hardwood furniture on a commission basis and teaches woodworking courses. During Perthshire Open Studios, he will be welcoming two other artists to exhibit in his workshop. David MacKenzie will be showing his fine art paintings and Ricky Pitcher will bring his beautiful jewellery. We are excited to welcome our neighbours to come to see our workshop and furniture as well as the work of our fellow artists.

I have my own range of sustainable clothing including tunics and kimono jackets in linen and lightweight denims. From my original artwork I create screen-printed textile art which I make into prints for scarves and accessories. Browse my range of original designs and have something made to measure. Or choose from my collection of bags made from reclaimed kilts and tweeds.
