Open Studios
The Open Studio starts on the 5 September and runs until the 13 September.
The Open Studios have venues across Perthshire, organised into coloured routes, with artists and makers opening studio doors, barns, churches and other venues. Take advantage of meeting artists face to face and chat about their artistic process, the techniques they use to create their artwork be that paintings, ceramics, glass, jewellery, sculpture, textiles, wood or more.
Grab or download a brochure, create your own road trip through Perthshire’s verdant rolling hills and glens, look out for our orange signage to spot a venue. Check out original artwork, demonstrations, quirky venues and talented artists and makers waiting to welcome you in.
Open Studios Routes
There are seven routes in 2026, these maps and routes are from the 2026 printed Brochure. See individual maps for each route below.
All Routes
Turquoise Route
From Tombreck, near Lawers, to near Weem.
Red Route
From Errical south of Aberfeldy along the A827 to Ballinluig then north to Pitlochry.
Orange Route
From Dalguise to Blairgowrie and on to Kettins
Yellow Route
Alyth to Glamis via Miegle
Blue Route
Perth City out to Invergowrie and south into Kinross
Plum Route
West of Perth and out to Innerpeffray
Green Route
St Fillans to Comrie and on to Crieff
