I am a Textile Artist working from a home studio in Aberfeldy. I love the layering of our landscape and the juxtaposition of colour and texture. Using hand dyed semi translucent fabrics enables me to give an impression of what I see and the simple stitching gives definition and adds texture.

I am a Textile Artist working from a home studio in Aberfeldy. I lam fascinated by the layering of our landscape and the juxtaposition of colour and texture in rock, heather and water. Using hand dyed semi translucent fabrics enables me to give an impression of what I see and the simple stitching gives definition and adds texture.
I have exhibited and will exhibit with the Society of Badenoch and Strathspey Artists, Creative Cairngorms, Fortingall Arts (18 July until 2 August) and in the Aberfeldy Gallery.
I am now working towards a solo exhibtion at the Scottish Arts Club in Edinburgh in June 2027.
There are four of us exhibiting at this venue, my textiles, Cathy Wagstaff and her paintings and drawings, Jane Carmichael with paintings and potter Helen Webb with her ceramics.
We’ll be doing demos but do check back nearer the time for more details on the timing of these.
