Based in Aberfeldy, Rochelle is a self-taught artist inspired by the natural beauty of the Upper Tay Valley. Originally working in watercolour she has embraced acrylics in recent years allowing for more experimental expression in her pieces. Her work tries to capture the texture, movement and seasonal changes of her beloved Scottish landscape and especially the silver birch trees which are abundant in Perthshire.
Rochelle is a regular exhibitor at Fortingall Art Summer Exhibition, 18 July to 2 August 2026, and Artisanand Gallery in Aberfeldy.
During the Open Studios Rochelle will be in Artisanand with her easel and paints, pop along and meet her, discuss her practice and see her in action.
