2026 is proving to be another exciting year. Lorna is exploring new techniques in painting and also portraits onto glass.
Strathmore Open Studios-She I can be found at Momentum Pottery in Alyth for Strathmore Open Studios for 22nd -25May where she joins 6 other artists.
ArTay- She will also have work in the popular ArTay exhibition next to Perth Concert Hall running from May 22nd – 24th May
‘Flights of fancy’/Solo Exhibition-Lorna’s first solo exhibition is at Artisanand in Aberfeldy from Saturday 25th July – Tuesday 1st September. Lorna will have a range of indoor and outdoor glass art as well as a new collection of paintings exploring different styles and techniques.
Perthshire Open Studios- Once again Lorna will be in Artisanand for Perthshire Open Studios 2026 , in person carrying out demonstrations Saturday-Wednesday morning. ( family wedding in Poland is dragging her away after that.)
Scottish Glass Society- ‘Connections ‘- Trades Hall Glasgow -as a member of SGS Lorna’s work will feature alongside other members in this exhibition and it is open to the public for 7 days. ( dates in September to be confirmed)
Lorna is also enjoying working on a large private commission of 30square feet due to be completed in August.
Her recent projects have included a chapel window in St. Chad’s College, Durham University, a new range of workshops from her garden studio and a range of garden sculpture and smaller commissions throughout the year.
