I am a printmaker specialising in etching. I create handmade, limited-edition prints inspired by my love of Nature. I work in the traditional method with zinc plates, wax, and nitric acid to create richly detailed prints. This is a working studio with lots to see and discover about creating etchings

I am a fine art printmaker specialising in soft ground etchings. My work draws inspiration from my family and the natural world surrounding my studio in Comrie, Perthshire.
I discovered my passion for etching during my postgraduate year at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee and continued to gain invaluable experience as a member of Edinburgh Printmakers before creating my own studio in 2015. I have been actively printmaking for the past nine years and sell my work at curated craft fairs, exhibitions, online, and through art galleries.
I am a member of Perthshire Artisans, Perthshire Open Studios, and the Printmakers of Scotland, where I exhibited at the Scottish Festival of Printmaking in August 2024 and 2025
I have twice been awarded a prize at the Teesside Print Prize, in 2017 and 2021. These were purchase prizes, awarded as part of an initiative to establish a collection of prints showcasing the best in intaglio and relief printmaking techniques.
My work was showcased online at the RSA 196th Summer Exhibition in 2022 and hung at the 197th Summer Exhibition in 2023. My print ‘Helen’ was exhibited online at the Scottish Portrait Awards in 2023.
I had a solo exhibition ‘Impressions of Summer’ at Birnam Arts from 2nd August – 21st September 2025
My etchings are all hand-printed, original, and limited editions. I work with zinc plates, soft wax, nitric acid, and recycled or natural materials gathered from my surroundings. It is a challenging yet exciting method of printmaking that produces rich, intricate and highly detailed prints.
