Self taught Ceramicist, painter and illustrator. I love colourful ceramics whether wheel thrown or hand built. Love showing people all my work.
I’m happy if my hands are busy…….whether that be drawing, painting or playing with clay.
The older I get the more I enjoy what I do, and I’ve found a new love …showing people, hands on, what I do, and how they can do it too! New to me in 2026 I have been teaching small personal groups, normally individually or friends (max 5) how to enjoy pottery. From throwing pots on my Wheel and through all its subsequent processes to Hand Building and it’s endless possibilities.
During Open Studios you will be able to see me working on various Hand Building pieces, throwing a few pots on the wheel, and drinking lots of tea and talking!
With all my pieces of ceramics I love playing with glaze colours, textures and effects which never cease to suprise me.
