Angela owns Artisanand exhibiting mainly local perthshire artists, its a quirky and eclectic gallery in Aberfeldy, with a workshop in the back to allow her to try her hand at whatever arts and crafts take her fancy.
One of the aims of the gallery is to represent as many media as possible, art comes in all forms and one of the best compliments is when visitors head home to try their hand at something thats inspired them.

This year Angela has two regular gallery artists, Lorna Radbourne and Rochelle McConnachie, exhibiting with her for Perthshire Open Studios, all three will be working on pieces during the nine days and there will be regular demos. Check back nearer the event for dates and times.
Angela’s practice is based both at her home and in her workshop at the gallery. From small pieces, large pieces of furniture, or 3D wall art in Harris Tweed. Many of the crafts have come through a desire to see materials being sent to landfill. The original 3D wall art used offcuts from cushions until now Harris Tweed is purchased just for these pieces. Upcycling and re-upholstering furniture comes from a desire not only to avoid landfill but also to take advantage of the design and quality manufacturing many older pieces of furniture have.
Lorna will only be in the gallery in person for the first weekend until the Wednesday, 5th to 9th September, but her work will remain for the whole of the Open Studios. Rochelle and Angela will be there most days.
