Open Studios

This year we’ll be continuing with a nine day open studio event for the first week of September, this year the dates are Saturday 6 September until Sunday 14 September. 

We’ll provide a clear indication of which studios are open on which days and for what hours. Last year we had around 80 artists participate in an incredibly successful event, made possible by the artists opening their studios, taking their work to locations as diverse as the Tickled Trout Café, Camserney Village Hall and Victoria Bloom Design Florist. 

There will be a paper brochure available in various locations through-out Perthshire in July and August, the website will have more detailed information and images that should be available by the beginning of July.

Given the rural nature of Perthshire there are parts where the network cover is poor and so the paper brochure does offer some added benefit. Each location provides a postcode as well as a what3words location to help you find the more rural venues. 

Open Studios happen across Perthshire and is a unique opportunity to visit a wide range of artists’ studios. Visitors will be able to see artists working on pieces within their studio spaces, learn about their creative process and potentially purchase something directly from them. It’s a wonderful chance to meet and support local artists, discover new artists and immerse yourself in the Perthshire artistic community.
