Lynne is an Ex Army Nurse who completed an Engineering course in metal art. She lives in the Trossachs and that inspires her love of wildlife and the environment to create sculptures of birds and animals in a whimsical way, in copper and with recycled garden tools. She also uses fused glass to enhance her love of colour. This year she hopes to use recycled whisky barrels and drift wood to make quirky art. Lynne has previously made a number of public artworks ie the Bliss Trail, Edinburgh Cow Parade and her work featured in TVs Beachgrove Gardens Show Garden and Community Gardens. She is a community based artist and is involved in local Art Festivals and the Greening of Callander, she is also a director of the shop Creative in Callander and is committed to Community Arts. Her open studio will involve two other artists and showcase her gardens special view of the River Leny and Ben Ledi. Creating unique and small batch pieces or pottery, sculpture and paintings in my garden studio. Inspired by nature; from the beautiful Perthshire landscapes and visits to the Outer Hebrides. Open by arrangement and always happy to chat about what I do although sometimes it is unsuitable to have visitors if I am mixing glazes or the kiln is firing. So please get in touch if you would like to visit the studio to see my pottery and artwork. You may want to just blether, make a purchase, ask about a bespoke piece or find out about tuition. Perthshire Lochs – an exhibition of landscape paintings I have worked with landscape for the past 20 years, in Australia and Scotland, focusing on a return to the medium of oil painting over the past decade. Having been based in Perthshire for the last few years, my current work is informed by the local landscape, particularly the many varied and beautiful lochs. Work for sale – original paintings and limited edition prints.

A humble home studio in an 18th century stone cottage. Situated directly across from the entrance to Drummond Castle Gardens, this space is full of colour and life! I create wildlife artwork using soft pastel, acylic paint and mixed media. Inspired by a blend of my two homes, Scotland and Australia – I often paint wildlife native to both countries. I use wood from local woodlands and gardens to create her some of my pieces, and have a range of original artworks, prints, and greeting cards.
