Jane Drysdale creates hand crafted kiln formed glass in her garden studio on the outskirts of Crieff. Her studio and conservatory gallery are open by appointment during the year, just give her a ring. However, during the festival she will open up her work space to share some of the secrets of the processes involved and you may get the chance to make something small yourself.

Come visit me at Victoria Bloom Design Florist, 11 West High Street, Crieff. Just down the hill a little from the square. I’m surrounded by the most gorgeous fresh flowers, an ideal setting to inspire my painting and drawing. I paint using mainly watercolour pencil to create my interpretation of vibrant blooms from the florist and my garden.

We are residents of St Fillans that have come together to form the St Fillans Art Club. This September the club will mark its inaugural year by hosting an exhibition in the Sandison Hall, to celebrate the wide variety of creative talent within the village. Including Photography, Painting, Collage, Textiles, Ceramics, Sculpture and Woodwork. Come and see us in our beautiful village on the shores of Loch Earn, we’d be delighted to see you.

St Fillans Arts & Crafts

A humble home studio in an 18th century stone cottage. Situated directly across from the entrance to Drummond Castle Gardens, this space is full of colour and life! I create wildlife artwork using soft pastel, acylic paint and mixed media. Inspired by a blend of my two homes, Scotland and Australia – I often paint wildlife native to both countries. I use wood from local woodlands and gardens to create her some of my pieces, and have a range of original artworks, prints, and greeting cards.

Having only recently moved to Crieff from Edinburgh, I still split my studio time and work between the city and the country. The majority of my artwork is inspired by the architecture of the Georgian New Town but I’m looking forward to finding more inspiration in Perthshire. I don’t yet have a permanent studio in Crieff but if you’re in Edinburgh you’re welcome to contact me to arrange a visit to my studio in Stockbridge.
