I have my own range of sustainable clothing including tunics and kimono jackets in linen and lightweight denims. From my original artwork I create screen-printed textile art which I make into prints for scarves and accessories. Browse my range of original designs and have something made to measure. Or choose from my collection of bags made from reclaimed kilts and tweeds.

Studio 52 is the bricks and mortar home of Louise McLaren and her papercut artworks. Louise creates intricate, delicate paper cuts from single sheets of paper. Each papercut starts off as a ink line drawing, before being cut out, by hand, with a scalpel, lots of sharp blades and a bit of patience! Many of the finished pieces have words in them which capture the threads and stories of lives well lived. Louise has also started a series of papercut landscapes, capturing some of the beautiful Perthshire scenery that she has on her doorstep. Visit Studio 52 to see her sketchbooks and works in progress, as well as finished pieces, prints, cards and more! Louise has put together some beginners paper cutting kits that are available to purchase and include everything you need to try paper cutting.

The kettle in my workshop is always on and I’m a sociable artist who spends too much time in her quiet workshop making things from items that have been tossed away by others. I have a range of tree and woodcrafts made from repurposed items on sale and can guarantee that every single piece is handcrafted and totally unique. See my workspace, watch me making and have a cuppa and a blether about all things recycling.
