Anne is an Orcadian Artist/Printmaker working in a variety of printmaking techniques from one-off monoprints, etching and relief print – all are hand inked and printed as limited editions. Also on show, from Anne’s garden studio are mixed media drawings along with a variety of greetings cards, all inspired by the beautiful landscapes and coastal areas around Scotland.

Come and visit my burnside studio set in a beautiful garden in Dalguise. I paint atmospheric landscapes with an emphasis on light and pattern. Figures, wild swimmers, animals and birds sometimes make an appearance. My landscape paintings are mostly acrylic, sometimes involving collage and other mixed media techniques. I work in layers of paint: some translucent some thicker and more opaque, and these are often wiped back or dissolved to reveal details and patterns beneath. I also work in textiles. There will be a selection of small gift items: jewellery, handmade notebooks and sketchbooks and bags. Teas available in the conservatory.

Jane Drysdale creates hand crafted kiln formed glass in her garden studio on the outskirts of Crieff. Her studio and conservatory gallery are open by appointment during the year, just give her a ring. However, during the festival she will open up her work space to share some of the secrets of the processes involved and you may get the chance to make something small yourself.

I’m a printmaker, photographer and designer. My printmaking tends to be one off monoprints often utilising other media. My photography is varied from digital to historic processes and polaroid, often using some work in creation of monoprints. Come and see my work, and my studio where some of the work is created.
