Louise creates intricate, delicate paper cuts from single sheets of paper. Each papercut starts off as an ink line drawing, before being cut out, by hand, with a scalpel, lots of sharp blades and a bit of patience!
Many of the finished pieces have words in them which capture moments of joy and the threads and stories of lives well lived. Louise has also started a series of papercut landscapes, capturing some of the beautiful Perthshire scenery that she has on her doorstep.
