Lynne is an Ex Army Nurse who completed an Engineering course in metal art. She lives in the Trossachs and that inspires her love of wildlife and the environment to create sculptures of birds and animals in a whimsical way, in copper and with recycled garden tools. She also uses fused glass to enhance her love of colour. This year she hopes to use recycled whisky barrels and drift wood to make quirky art. Lynne has previously made a number of public artworks ie the Bliss Trail, Edinburgh Cow Parade and her work featured in TVs Beachgrove Gardens Show Garden and Community Gardens.
She is a community based artist and is involved in local Art Festivals and the Greening of Callander, she is also a director of the shop Creative in Callander and is committed to Community Arts. Her open studio will involve two other artists and showcase her gardens special view of the River Leny and Ben Ledi. A welcome to all, including children’s activities, free home baking and refreshments. Dogs welcome.
