Profile
I am a North Highland Perthshire artist capturing the drama of the remote Scottish landscape in my paintings.
Drawing and Painting out in the wilds of the landscape is where I feel alive, in the moment expressing my feeling of connection with the energy, the environment and the drama of the atmosphere. I am drawn to the relationship between the weather and the land
I love the alchemy of paint materials, being in the flow of creating my paintings in my studio.
I have my very latest artwork collection available of mixed media paintings, greetings cards and a small collection of limited edition art prints especially created for festival.
I will be exhibiting at Camserney Hall nr Aberfeldy with:
Cathy Wagstaff – Mixed Media Artist whose atmospheric landscapes evoke freedom and can lift the spirits
Louise MacDonald – Works in oil paints to create a strong atmosphere and rich texture in her work
We are three North Highland Perthshire artists who frequently work in collaboration, meeting up for sketching sessions (as well as coffee, cake and chat) in and around Perthshire which, inspire our work.
Our connection is our fascination for the rural landscape, we each express the drama and mood of the Perthshire land and skies in our own unique way.
