Laura’s subject matter is nature, from animals to trees, whatever captures her interest.
Her sculptures are created with wire which provides a harsh contrast between it and the essence of the subject she captures.
Laura often includes a natural material in each piece, stone or wood, connecting the sculpture to its subject.
Originally from the south of England, Laura is now based in Scotland which is an ideal setting for inspiration.

When visiting my workspace in Glamis Gallery you will have the opportunity to see how I create my sculptures. You will see lots of works in progress as well as finished pieces. You are welcome to explore and handle the different materials I use and maybe even take some wire away to have a go yourself.
