What’s the future for wild places? Why not come along to our visitor centre to find out!
Located in the centre of Pitlochry, in the heart of Highland Perthshire, our visitor centre and gallery is an ideal stop-off if you’re passing by on the A9.
The inside space is constructed from native windblown timber. It features:
• Temporary exhibition demonstrating the work of the John Muir Trust over the last 40 years
and the hope for the future.
• Coming soon: Creative Freedom exhibition, 18 March to 25 May 2025. Enjoy a multimedia exhibition of
artwork inspired by ‘freedom for wild places’.
• Unique audio journeys whisk you to Sandwood Bay, Ben Nevis, Knoydart and Skye.
We specialise in art that is inspired by the natural world. As a conservation charity we aim to inspire people to connect with wild places: whether it’s a painting of a woodland, a photograph of the top of a Munro or a woollen wildlife creation.
A percentage of the profits from each sale go towards protecting wild places.
