Suzanne is a multi-media artist and fine art portraitist. Under the name Jessie Street Art, she works primarily in oils, watercolour and more recently on glass.
Since relocating from Orkney where her artistic practice was strongly influenced by her life near the sea, Suzanne has found new inspiration in the beautiful and historic Perthshire landscape.
Suzanne aims to go beyond the constraints of traditional realism in her work, and to adopt an experimental approach towards her subject.
A member of Perthshire Artisans, Suzanne works with traditional materials like oils, watercolour, ink and glass. What makes her practice experimental is her interest in exploring the use of tools and technology not usually combined with traditional methods.
This year Suzanne will not be opening her studio, but will be taking part in the Summer Show at Perth Civic Hall from 6 July to 27 July.
