My pottery reflects the ordered, methodical side of my character with carved geometric patterns and straight lines and yet the disordered part of me always creeps in with the need to offset things or add a quirk. I love texture and all things tactile, so I like to create pottery that makes you want to pick it up and feel the difference in the surfaces. My colour palette is simple and reflects the colours I see around me in my little Perthshire glen.
