As a full-time potter, I produce contemporary earthenware ceramics from my studio in Perth Creative Exchange. My work mostly consists of wheel-thrown vessels decorated in a unique and striking style, with particular attention paid to colour relationships and evolving motifs.
I’m inspired by tiny patterns of nature, and the homewares which sparked fascination as a child living in 1970s suburbia, surrounded by contemporary and post-war homewares. This mix informs my design aesthetic to this day.
My aim is to create lasting, high-quality, but playful pieces which have meaning and inspire some similar fascination and joy.
