The Treecycler studio contains wood and tree crafts made from recycled materials to enhance any garden or living room. I love to create new things from the materials others have discarded. A modern day ‘Womble’ I like to make good use of the things that the everyday folks leave behind.
Whether its wall art from bicycle wheels, lamps from old tools or wire trees made from discarded copper cables , every item is hand crafted and completely unique.

During the open studio festival I will be making trees of life from discarded copper wire and bicycle rims as well as doing demonstrations of ‘Kintsugi’ which is the Japanese craft of restoring broken pottery with gold lacquer. The piece is more beautiful because it has first been broken.
The emphasis is on creating art from materials traditionally destined for landfill. There is no such thing as waste, only materials that can be repurposed into beautiful creations. If you would like to participate in a workshop please don’t hesitate to get in touch to arrange a mutually convenient time.
