My paintings and drawings always begin with observation, whether from the sights & sounds of the landscape, flowing water or from a life drawing session.

Mark making and expressing the feeling of a moment is key to my work so you may not see every detail or find an exact representation of a place but instead feel the warmth of sunlight on skin or the sound over water splashing over rocks.

Visiting my studio will let you see behind the scenes, come in and be inspired by the range of materials and processes and try some mark making exercises. Browse through sketches and work in progress. You can purchase cards, prints or original artwork directly from me. The ‘Own Art’ payment option is available to spread the cost of larger pieces.
