I am a painter and mixed media artist with a background in art and photography education, having taught for over 14 years in the UK and internationally. I studied at Edinburgh College of Art, where I developed a strong foundation in both traditional and contemporary practices. My work is deeply inspired by nature and wildlife, as well as a strong connection to the environment—something that continues to influence both my subject matter and approach.

Scotland and the wider UK remain a constant source of inspiration in my work, from their landscapes and wildlife to their ever-changing coastlines. Alongside my detailed animal pieces, I also create abstract seascapes incorporating collected sea plastics, reflecting both the beauty of the ocean and the environmental challenges it faces. Through layered textures, colour, and expressive mark-making, I explore the balance between realism and abstraction, aiming to evoke a sense of place and encourage a deeper connection with the natural world.

Commissions are very welcome, and paintings can be created bespoke to suit your space, including alternative colours, backgrounds, or subjects. Framing options are also available on request. Both original paintings and high-quality prints are offered.
