Morna Goldie is an artist based in a bespoke garden studio and specialises in original paintings and giclée prints. Morna, a Duncan of Jordanstone graduate, works primarily in oils and gouache, capturing the essence of Scotland’s Kintyre peninsula. Childhood holidays and deep family roots have instilled a deep connection to its rugged coastlines and dramatic skies, influencing her minimalist landscapes. Inspired by the tranquility of this beautiful area, her art emphasises simplified forms and evocative, muted colour palettes to create serene, contemplative scenes. Morna explores ideas through sketching and photography continually refining her distinctive style and promoting Kintyre’s unique beauty.
