Hello my name is Wendy Farquharson and I am a fibre artist based in Glendoick, Perthshire. I am dedicated to creating vibrant and unique Scottish textile art. I have always had a passion for vibrant colours and textures. A keen photographer, photographing and documenting my travels around Scotland. Inspiration comes from Scotland’s Highlands, Glens, Forests and coastlines. Colour and texture define my artistic style. My biggest achievement last year was being accepted as a Perthshire Artisan. I have just completed a new studio build in my garden where I will also be hosting felting workshops. I have a few spring exhibitions this year as well as exhibitions with Perthshire Artisans . I will also be showcasing at Arts At ST Pauls in Kinross In August 22 – 23rd.
