Summer Show

An exhibition of our members work which will be held again this year in the splendid Civic Hall at the end of the High Street in Perth. Introduced in 2023 our first exhibition was held at Birnam Arts, where over 70 of our artists exhibited their work. We’re expecting more artists to take part this year.
Open Studios
Saturday 6 September to Sunday 14 September
Artists can choose to open their home studios, independent studios or specially chosen locations. In 2025, we are continuing the nine day event of previous years although artists can chose which days they are open. Perth & Kinross is a huge area so we’ve broken down the area into manageable routes. You will however be able to search on artist name, media or place depending on your own preferences
Open Studio Showcase
Saturday 30 August to Sunday 14 September
Our exhibition for anyone participating in the Open Studios to showcase work in a single location allowing visitors to the event a chance to view the art and choose which studios they will visit during the nine days of open studios. This year we’re also allowing members not opening their studios to exhibit, although it will be clear if that is the case. We start the Showcase a week ahead of the Open Studios to give everyone time to plan their days out! The Open Studios showcase is held at the Barn Gallery, The Bield, Blackruth
Creative Trail
All Year Round
The Creative Trail was introduced in 2023 following a consultation where artists asked for more support throughout the year. The concept was to support galleries and artist studios that are open throughout the year, where our artists exhibit their work. The Creative Trail introduce visitors not only to the creative community but also to the places within Perthshire from where our members take their inspiration. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to continue this forward so the current year will be the last for the time being.
